Our templates are extremely modular, and the build-your-own-system helps you match different parts of the system to accomplish what YOU need to accomplish.
Whenever you initiate a new mode, a step-by-step guide is auto-generated to follow along for easy to follow setup that you can easily delete afterwards.
Here's what Notion had to say about our innovations...
Depending on what you're looking to accomplish with your new system, we have 4 modes for you to explore, in sequential order.
Each package will come with their own templates included, so depending on the package you purchase, you will see different modes available.
EZ Mode (Optional)
Get started with a task manager and keep track of your weekly quests, with basic gamification. Generally, I recommend skipping this mode if you are ready to get deep with the system. The intention behind the EZ mode is to help people who want to make tracking their to-do list fun get started with our system within minutes.
Build intentionality into your life by aligning your execution with the why, what, and how's of your life. This mode focuses on building intentionality in your life, so that you can achieve your goals and find more meaning in your life.
Upgrade gamification by building incentives into your life to motivate yourself to do more. We consider gamification advanced because there is need for some understanding of how formulas and relations work to make the best use of this mode.
Live an organized, intentional life by mastering and tracking all the things that matter. We recommend picking these up after you master the core components of the system, or if you have a specific problem you'd like to solve.
How To Use
We share a weekly video series that walks you through each component of the system on our Youtube channel.
Notable improvements from our videos:
We have innovated on the mechanism of how the template is deployed. In the previous iterations, we had used a template block to generate the guides and tutorials for each section. Now, you simply need to open the tutorials.
Navigate to the build-your-own-system
After duplicating your template package, scroll down to the Build-Your-Own-System and click on the link (highlighted with the red rectangle)
Opening The Tutorials
Scroll down, and click on the card for the tutorial you would like to start with. I recommend starting from the top and moving down.
Understanding The Tutorial
Whenever you open a tutorial page, I highly recommend opening the popup as a page with the button in the top left. This expands the page and makes it so that when you click another link within the page, you simply need to press back to get back to the tutorial.
Also, pay attention to the tags! If they are indicated with
Core, we think mastery of this component is critical to your success with the system.
Each tutorial starts with a statement of what this component offers, and an accompanying video tutorial if available. We have a community goal to hit 100 patrons, so that we can release weekly videos for our family to enjoy!
Then, you will see some step by step instructions and relevant linked databases for you to add data into your system.
You can advance to previous or next steps in the tutorial through the section at the bottom of the page. This helps you stay focused and continue learning relevant content.
If you'd like to find more information about each specific component like dashboards, additional views, and access to the academy resources, explore the backend.
Remember to check off the
Done! property when you are finished with a tutorial so you know where you last left off!
